Prosperity Risings Small Sliding Ad Bar Change Increases Signups over 75%!

Posted By: Prosperity Risers

Although Prosperity Rising has several fantastic Internet marketing tools (free web conferencing, income builder system, and the viral ebook tool just to name a few), we like to think of the Prosperity Rising “Sliding Ad Bar” as the backbone of our site.

Many people use our sliding ad bar everyday. And the more a member uses our sliding ad bar, the more their websites that they want to market get displayed (using our rotation system).

While many people understand that our sliding ad bar can turn ANY website into a marketing machine, they tend to forget that our “sexy” ad display system has a viral component to it. The sliding ad bar actually displays 2 ads. See the example below:

Sliding Ad Bar

Section 1 is a members ad (this ad may be either text or a banner).

Section 2 is also a member ad. When a person sees this ad and clicks on “Put Your Ad Here 100% FREE” they will be taken the sign-up page of Prosperity Rising but it’s coded to your Prosperity Rising affiliate link. If that person signs up, they will be added to your down-line. If they upgrade to take advantage our other features, you, as a member, will get a commission.

Section 3 is our timer. Or the trigger that makes people want to take action now. When the time goes to zero, that ad will be gone forever and the member may never see it again.

Now, let’s talk about the slight changes that have truly helped improve member referral sign-ups!

Section 2 “Put Your Ad Here 100% FREE” has caused a new found excitement as more members are signing up from that ad then ever before. All because we changed around the wording and we adjusted the color of the display. This modification has helped members gain new referrals by a whopping 75.55%. Folks, 10% increase would be significant! But a 75% increase is just simply outstanding.

Although the results are not in yet (too early to tell), we believe the two additional changes we made to the sliding ad bar will also prove significant.

  1. Increased the opacity of the bar so that it is less see-though
  2. reduced the time the slide up ad bar is displayed from 15 seconds to 10 seconds

We believe that our opacity change will make your ad a bit more prominent and help increase your click-thru rate. We also believe that reducing the “call to action” timer will make the viewers surfing experience a little more pleasant.

If you are a current member of Prosperity Rising, we would love to have your comments.

It is important to note what a seemingly small change can make to overall results.

This just serves to emphasize the importance of split-testing. You will never know the effects of your changes if you don’t test and record the results.

It is also important to remember not to make too many changes at one time. Otherwise you may not be able to determine which change(s) was(were) responsible for the changed results.

The primary change we made here was the new “Put your AD here” banner. The other changes were more cosmetic.
