The 10am coffeetime show has come and gone so you will not have the chance to get your questions answered until Monday. Everyone these days is talking about blogs and the power of BLOGGING! Blogging is powerful but many people get confused about how to best use a blog site. Me too, sometimes

Blog sites, in my opinion, are best used to get people to know you, like you, and trust you. Blog sites help maintain a relationship between you and the reader.

Blogs sites, typically, are not list-building tools! I repeat, blog sites typically are not list-building tools!

That’s why the Internet Gods created Squeeze pages.

Squeeze pages are an essential part of list-building.

In the beginning the Internet Gods were granted the very first squeeze page. It was long and narrow but had a great call to action (in written form). There was usually a great Headline… much like today. It was kind of like this, “Who else wants to get so much traffic to their website that their host provider warns them that their site might be shut down?”

But then the Old style squeeze page had a lot of words, too many in my opinion, and it required that you use the scroll bar to get to the end. Once it got to the end, you were asked to provide your your “full name” and email address to get your free gift!

They worked!

Then they kind of stopped working because they were, well, ugly.

Now Squeeze pages can be sexy!

No, I’m not talking porn here, I’m talking eye-candy video’s, a wider page and an opt-in section that just makes you want to jump in and get that free GIFT.

No more scrolling. The video and “call to action (opt-in)” are right there in front of you the whole time.

Now today on our “coffeetime” show, JQ (aka The Professor) created a simple but very accurate video showing what new squeeze pages are all about!

I know, frustrating eh?

So back to the Blogs.

Blogging is great and blogging is hugely important but to start out just blogging and not driving people to a highly attractive squeeze page that is specifically designed to collect names and email addresses would be making a big mistake. You will be frustrated and pulling your hair out!

You need to do both. drive traffic to your opt-in page. Give them something that solves a problem. Thank them and redirect them to your blog site. Shhhhh. Don’t tell too many people about this!

We wanted to wait a few days before we spoke to you about the problems we had over the past couple of weeks to make sure things were all set.

And they are… Well, for the most part.

Our Main site is now running on all eight cylinders.  Our built-in multiple income streams and traffic builder systems are on fire. Our Solo E-mail system is Spot-On!  The “free” blogging tool is working as it should.

And more…

The only tool that we are still tweaking is our free webinar service system.   We do not have a set date when that site will be back, but we can asure you that our webinar system is a high priority and will be back online very soon.

“Cloak and Swagger”

I was talking to a good friend of mine last night and we spoke about how powerful cloaking your link can be with Prosperity Rising.

I mentioned to him that it’s kind of like “cloak and swagger”.  As you know,
every time you cloak your link with PR you are earning advertising credits. Every time you earn advertising credits the more your ads will show up on other sites. It is quite amazing. And many of our members have experienced new members in there PR downline and new sales as a result.

So You “cloak” and then you put on a “swagger” because you did something to help grow your internet business. And… it only takes 20 seconds or so to do.

“Cloak and Swagger”

We are so excited about our new changes that this “news release” could be way to long.  With your best interest in mind we will attempt to stay on point.

As you may know, Prosperity Rising provides a Traffic Generator system that is really cool and really works.  But, as many of you know, it provides much more then just that.

Much more.

After much discussion and much thought, we felt that maybe it’s time to let our other great features get in the lime light. They certainly do deserve it.

After all, we really are a “5 separate products in 1″ company.

So, here’s the deal, we shortened the length of our front page by adding GreyBoxes.

A GreyBox can be used to display websites, images and other content in a beautiful way inside the existing site.  Imagine you are on a site where there is a map given for directions and when you click on that map, a much larger picture of that map displays (for better viewing).  After viewing that larger map, simply click the close button and you remain on the same page (that is the GreyBox key…remaining on the same page).

Because Prosperity Rising is so full of features, and benefits to help members grow their online businesses our “sales page” would end up being a mile long.  And as owners we don’t like long sales pages.

So, for each additional feature/benefit Prosperity Rising offers we created “Bonus Boxes” Here is what is inside Bonus Box One. As an example here is the picture of the bonus box below:

Copy-Cat Site My A$$!

What a crazy week it was for us Prosperity Risers!

First, one of our dedicated servers got hacked. Then, I was informed by
one of our favorite members that he was showing someone our web
site and they told him that we were just a copy-cat site.

Let me briefly explain.

Prosperity Rising, in it’s infancy, was about a network marketing book that
we wrote. Our business plan was to give this valuable book away and promote
a few network marketing products and services that we really liked (e.g. GVO).

Our E-book is re-brandable and before you download it, you can modify the promotion
links to make them yours. So, this e-book can then be distributed to your list
with “your” affiliate/promo links inside.

There is more…

We then decided that not only should we just have a great e-book but we should
offer training. So we added a daily “live” training show to go along with our
library of training videos (now 199 videos) to our non-copy-cat site.

In our craziness, we also decided to give all our members a “free” place to hang.
Totally free. It’s called “online meeting house”.

It’s a huge, unlimited use, unlimited rooms, 300 seat web conferencing system!

We decided that by giving you this conferencing tool, you could get together with
your group or team to help grow your “primary” business. Also, we have been
tracking live conferences and found that they are the best way to make an
immediate sale of a product. Copy-cat? MY A$$!

Here is where it starts to get tricky, a really neat little script came along that
offered an awesome way to advertise your site, cloak your link and email folks in
your membership. We were one of the first, if not the first, sites to start using this script.
